We are happy to share with you that Singularity University, USA is conducting a Road Show on Global Impact Challenge (India) on 28th May at FICCI, Federation House in association with Kerala Startup Mission and FICCI.
SingularityU Global Impact Challenges aim to bring together innovators and stakeholders with a passion to solve one or more of the global grand challenges (environment, energy, water, food, health, disaster resilience, governance, learning, space, security, prosperity and shelter) by leveraging exponential technologies. The Global Impact Challenge is one of the renowned challenges to solve world problems and India has taken two challenges to solve in the field of education and environment.
- Education - Addressing skill shortage in emerging technologies and Adoption of 21st-century skill sets among youth.
- Environment - Solid Waste management in urban and rural areas and Controlling air and water pollution in cities.
- Health Care - Prevention, Detection and treatment of diseases
The purpose of the SingularityU India Global Impact Challenge is to foster moon shot innovations and start-ups that positively impact the lives of people living in India, with an ability to scale and impact a billion people worldwide in 10 years.
The Prize
The winner receives a seat at the SU Ventures Incubator Program starting in September 2018. The Incubator Program is a 10-week fully sponsored program that fosters the development of viable start-ups (for profit or not-for profit) that have the potential to make positive impact at scale.
