Ever since the origin of human being man has enjoyed the nature and natural resources. In the last few decades the greed of man has become beyond the need and the attitude of consumerism of mankind has brought the environment today at a critical juncture. Various anthropogenic activities like urbanization, industrialization, chemical based agriculture, deforestation, habitat destruction etc., have brought us to an alarming stage where there is no point of return without proper conservation strategy. The environment needs conservation to provide sustainability and survival of man. The present conference is being organized under the auspices of Kakatiya University, Warangal. Let us have an opportunity to invite you to be a part of the conference and to contribute your academic endeavour in searching the ways and means of establishing harmony with nature without hampering development. ABOUT THE CONFERENCE VENUE
Kakatiya University was established on 19th August 1976 by upgrading the erstwhile Post-graduate Center of Osmania University. This historical event signified the fulfilment of long cherished aspirations of the Telangana and heralded a new era in the realm of higher education catering the needs of this region. Ever since its establishment, the university has been making great efforts in achieving academic excellence and it has been re-accredited with “A” grade by the NAAC recently. Kakatiya University is now offering programmes in Engineering, Pharmacy, Law, Computer Science, Business Management, Education, Science, Arts and Commerce, Oriental courses in thee University, constituent and affiliated colleges. The Department of Zoology was established in the year 1968 as PG Centre under Osmania University, Hyderabad. Later, it was shifted to the existing campus in 1973 as a full-fledged Department, with spacious classrooms, laboratories for students and research labs for faculty members in addition to museum, library and state-of- the-art Conference Hall, Computer Lab with internet facility.
ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION
The National Environmentalists Association ¬Registration under society Act 21/1860 and U/S 80 g of Income Tax) is chartered in Ranchi as a non-profit scientific and educational association of like-minded Academicians, Researchers, Scientists from all over the nation for furtherance and diffusion of knowledge in Life Sciences in general and Environmental Sciences in particular. Started in 1988, the National Environmentalists Association has been reorganized in 2006 and now is an association functioning with full vigour and new impetus to meet its objectives with the co-operation of like-minded environment-conscious-academicians from different parts of India. ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Abstracts should be data oriented reflecting the major findings of the paper. Theoretical paper and abstract should be avoided. Abstracts for oral and poster presentations should be within the themes. The abstracts will be accepted in electronic form by e-mail only. No abstract will be accepted without registration of at least one author e-mail for sending abstract: abstract.harmony2017@gmail.com
