Central Medical Services Society (CMSS) has been established with the approval of Cabinet on 24.08.2011 as a Central Procurement Agency (CPA) to streamline drug procurement and distribution system of Department of Health & Family Welfare (DoHFW), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and to eliminate existing deficiencies. The Mission of the Society is to procure high quality health sector goods in a transparent and cost-effective manner in line with the directives of the Government of India and ensure timely and un-interrupted supply of health sector goods & services for State Government and Union Territories.

Post : Pharmacists
No of Posts : 11 posts
(Agartala-Tripura, Chennai-Tamilnadu, Guwahati-Assam, Jajpur(Cuttack)-Odisha, Koikata-West Bengal, Lucknow-Uttar Pradesh Mumbai-Maharashtra, Patna-Bihar, Ranchi-Jharkhand, Srinagar-Uttarakhand, Trivandrum-Kerala)
Mode of Recruitment : On contract basis for a period not exceeding 5 years, renewable subject to satisfactory performance.
Emoluments : Fixed professional fee of Rs. 40,000/- per month (Consolidated) subject to tax deduction at source.
Basis of Selection : By written test and verification of document.
Age limit for direct recruitment
Below 45 years of age as on last date of application.

Educational Qualification and other qualification required for direct recruitment
a) D. Pharma / B. Pharma degree from a reputed University/Institute recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India.
b) An approved/registered pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1984.
c) Minimum 8 years of post qualification experience in Pharmaceutical store/ warehouse functions (preferably as store/ warehouse in-charge) for D. Pharma degree holders and 6 years of post qualification experience in Pharmaceutical store/warehouse functions (preferably as store/ warehouse in-charge) forB. Pharma degree holders.
d) Experience in Good Storage & Distribution Practices in accordance with GMP Regulations.
e) Exposure in handling regulatory audits on store/warehouse/distribution functions of Pharmaceutical.
f) Exposure to ERP and E-procurement system is desirable.
g) Knowledge of local language desirable.

Probation period : 6 Months
Tenure : Tenure of contract will be for 5 years. Retention after every year of tenure will be subject to satisfactory performance as assessed by DG&CEO, CMSS.
Termination : Services can be terminated any time during tenure by serving two months’ notice.
Annual increase in salary : 5% Subject to satisfactory performance.
