To trace the history of Jadavpur University is to trace a part of India’s freedom movement, at least from the Swadeshi Movement onwards. It was 1905 -1906. Bengal stood divided. The times were feverish.

It had to become a new form of resistance through which the emergent nationalist spirit could be propagated. With this in mind the National Council of Education (NCE) came into being.

Emolument : Rs. 18,700/- per month (including 15% HRA +M.A Rs.300) For initial 2 years & then Rs.21,000/- per month for last 1 year
Age : Not more than 28year. (Relaxable upto 5 year in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women/PH candidates)
Senior Research Fellow
Qualification : M.Pharm (60% marks ). GPAT Qualified
